Injection Molding Thermoplastic

  • Variety of Injection Molding Thermoplastic material we used for machining

Thermoplastic injection molding is an intricate process which creates work pieces by inserting thermoplastic polymer into a fully formed mold

It's widely used for rapid prototyping, low-run production, short run production and more.

The injection molding method is quick, accurate and can produce high-quality, low-cost parts with large numbers of small details.

The thermoplastic material used in injection molding is thermo-statically responsive, which allows it to be precisely controlled. Mold designs can be quickly changed with little effort using the injection molding machine.

  • 1ABS injection molding thermoplastic material

ABS injection molding thermoplastic material is widely used for manufacturing molded pieces such as toys, metal products, furniture, decorative art pieces, car parts, and decorative roofing materials.

It is also used in other industries such as electronics and medical equipment, and even automotive and aircraft manufacturing. The thermoplastics have many advantages over conventional thermoset materials.

The thermoplastic materials do not warp or expand when exposed to temperature changes. Standard sheets are also easy to handle and work with.

  • 2High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) injection molding

It iss flexibility and high tolerance level. This material is known for its excellent resistance to many chemicals and low moisture absorption level.

  • 3PA(Nylon), Semi-crystalline thermoplastic resins

PA(Nylon), semi-crystalline thermoplastic resins, is used to create parts that need to be precision cut and formed. One such part is the overmolded items that are so popular these days.

These products are typically used by companies in the sectors of engineering and science based industries like nanotechnology, energy, medicine, aerospace and so on.

  • 4Polycarbonate(PC) Injection Molding Thermoplastic Material

Polycarbonate(PC) Injection Molding Thermoplastic material is frequently used as the base material for other plastic parts such as bumpers and side skirts.

It is also used as an additive to plastic products, especially those that have adhesive qualities, to provide extra strength to them.

  • 5POM(Acetal/Delrin) Injection Molding Thermoplastic

POM(Acetal) is thermoplastics that are in its mono-form. As a monomer, it is rigid and does not change shape when sprayed into the mold. This rigidness and non-reactive nature make it ideal for injection molding.

  • 6Polypropylene(PP) Injection Molding Thermoplastic

Polypropylene(PP) becomes preformed and is ready to use as injection molding thermoplastic material for the manufacture of various products.

The process involves creating a large number of identical or near identical copies using polypropylene (PP) plastic, thermoform, and other material mixtures. Polypropylene is often mixed with other compounds such as epoxy polymers to produce the thermoplastic.

Some thermoplastic materials are even made with nylon thread to create strong threads that can be used in injection molding.

  • 7Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) Injection Molding Thermoplastic

Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) has high melting point of PPS, has low emission properties. This material will help you make a smooth, glossy finish on a variety of different materials.

Ryton polyphenylene sulfide. With an unmatched degree of thermal stability, superior dimensional stability, extreme chemical resistance, and fire resistance, coupled with excellent electrical and physical properties, ryton polyphenylene sulfide is ideal for use in polypropylene fibers, thermal tape, flexible sheets, vapor compression fittings, and thermoform sealants.

  • 8PS(polystyrene) Injection Molding Thermoplastic

PS(polystyrene): This thermoplastic comes in sheets of varying thicknesses and can be easily molded into various shapes, such as triangular bar, or in forms of conch shells.

Polystyrene can be melted together at very low temperatures using an injection molding machine. Once cooled, the plastic would harden, and the resulting product could be simply cut out using an electric jigsaw.
